Good afternoon Lowell families,
General Information:
Ms. Candice Whitmore officially took over the responsibilities of Assistant Principal this week. You will all get an opportunity to meet her in the fall. We will be hosting "meet and greet coffees" for parents and community representatives. Please, stay tuned for a schedule.
Prek and Kindergarten Families:
I wanted to remind all incoming Prek and kindergarten parents that this Wednesday, August 15 we are holding a playdate. It's a great opportunity to meet and make new friends before school begins. The playdate will take place in the kindergarten playground on the side of the school. Our resident gardener, Judy Fellows, will also give families tours of the Lowell Learning Garden.
Tuesday, August 14th Dr. Galdston is hosting a Parent Forum for incoming kindergarten parents for an update addressing the kindergarten schedule. The meeting will take place at the Phillip's Building at 6:30 pm on Wednesday evening.
Grade 5 Families:
The fifth-grade team has a new member. Stephanie Broduer is returning to the Lowell as a classroom teacher. She will be taking over for Ms. Park. Stephanie completed her student teaching with us under the supervision of Ms. Levine in 2016. She has since worked for the Easton Public Schools as a fifth-grade teacher. The team is excited to see her return and rejoin the Lowell School Team.
