Lowell School’s field trip to Wheelock Family Theatre to see Stuart Little on May 9th. Busses sponsored by the PTO.
WATERTOWN 2018 ARBOR DAY EVENT
AT THE COMMANDER’S MANSION
THURSDAY, APRIL 26TH FROM 11AM-2PM
The event is free and open to the public. The Commander’s Mansion is located at 440 Talcott Ave, Watertown (off Arsenal Street). This will be a fun day of learning about nature and the environment and there will be plenty of activities for children and adults. Free snacks and drinks will be handed out. There will be giveaways and you can enter to win raffles. Children will enjoy story time and hands-on activities. Meet with representatives from local environmental groups and learn about some of their programs, initiatives, and what they have to offer.

Book Club Grant:
Veronica Knight will run a book club for 4th and 5th graders, books will be purchased for each member. PTO submission.
Total request granted $165.
LittleBits Science Club:
Mr. MacLellan’s request to replace 2 KIBO kits for the second grade & third grade STEM- Science Clubs. PTO submission.
Lowell Stem Night:
Elizabeth Kaplan’s STEM Night for Lowell School. PTO submission.
Total request granted for both $1245.
The Power of One:
Mrs. Phelan’s – Anti Bullying show- school-wide, performance planned for the beginning of next school year. School submission.
