Greetings Lowell Families,
Friday morning Dr. Galdston and I walked around the building together looking for evidence of teacher/classroom behavior expectations and routines being implemented. We saw evidence of classroom expectations posted on anchor charts in many classrooms. We also saw student goals posted on post-it notes.
As we enter the classrooms we saw students following routines and following directions. It was clear teachers have taken the time to set expectations for behavior and classroom participation. We saw many classrooms with Responsive Classroom morning messages posted. One classroom was working on building their own classroom constitution/norms as we walked in.

Special Message for PreK Parents
As we have successfully completed our first full week of school I wanted to share with you a new arrival plan that we will be starting on Monday, September 24th. Starting 9/24, the Pre-K students will enter the school through Door #3 (the same door that we dismiss from).  Teachers will meet your child at Door #3 starting at 8:00am and escort your child to our classroom. (If you arrive later than 8:15 please enter through the main entrance and bring your child to the Main Office to receive a tardy pass.) For families with older children who escort their Pre-K sibling into the building, your drop off routine can remain the same.
Have a wonderful week,
Ms. Phelan
Reminder School Breakfast is served every day at 7:45 a.m.
